Halo Elite Free Access Scheme
Following last years success of the Free Access for National Sports People (FANS) scheme, Halo Leisure will continue to show their commitment to develop sport in Herefordshire. Run in partnership with Herefordshire Sport and the Herefordshire Sports Aspire project, The newly named Halo Elite programme will help to ease the financial burden athletes may face, with the initiative that is specifically aimed at local athletes who are currently members of a UK squad or competing at national level.
Halo Elite Athletes are eligible to apply for a Halo Complete Membership – meaning that selected athletes will have access to Halo facilities enabling them to maintain their general fitness training locally. Applicants to the scheme are not age-restricted, however they would need to fit the criteria detailed in the supporting information documentation (please see the attached downloads).
Applications for this year's scheme need to be in by Friday 13th August 2010.
