Halo provides swimming programmes that progress through the stages of development in a safe and logical manner.

Lessons, Awards and Instructors
Our swimming lessons adhere to the policies of the Amateur Swimming Association(ASA)who provide training for swimming teachers throughout the UK and guidelines for swimming programmes. The ASA National Swimming Plan for Teaching Swimming is a major certificate award scheme that allows clearly defined progression for all levels from beginners to competitive swimmers. All of our swimming instructors are qualified to ASA level and have the relevant training and understanding to deliver the National Plan in a structured and progressive manner that will help build self-esteem and confidence.

Parent and Child Lessons
Our Parent & Child lessons provide a perfect introduction to the water for all children aged between 6 months and 3 years. Using toys and games children are able to become familiar with the water in a safe, comfortable environment.
Children's Lessons
These lessons are aimed at children over the age of 4 that are confident enough to attend lessons without the aid of a parent or guardian. The children will be taught the main bulk of the National Plan. An ideal starting point for beginners.

You can pay for lessons in a one-off course payment, or by monthly Direct Debit.
Personal Swimming Lessons
If you would like extra tuition from one of our qualified instructors, for yourself or your children, then personal swimming lessons are available. Ask at reception for details.
- One-to-one lesson: £16
- One-to-two lesson: £26
Crash Course Lessons
Crash course lessons are a great way to improve technique, develop water skills and improve confidence in a short period of time. During most school holiday periods the centres offer a comprehensive range of intensive swimming lessons that cater for most abilities.
